How Digital Health Can Help Address Issues Of Equity
& Access In Behavioral Health

Behavioral healthcare access and treatment is one area where disparities continue to disproportionately impact people of color and other vulnerable populations, including the LGBTQ+ community; research shows that LGBTQ+ populations of all ages disproportionately experience more instances of mental health and substance use disorders, suicidality, and poorer wellbeing outcomes compared to their heterosexual and cisgender peers.
